Designed for easy maintenance, ensuring sustained performance over time.
Installation & Maintenance
To install, start by removing the factory airbox — unclip the lid, take out the stock filter, and disconnect the tubing from the throttle body. Next, bolt the mandrel-bent intake tube to the throttle body using the provided silicone coupler and heavy-duty clamps. Position the high-flow conical filter inside the heat shield or mount it in the fender well, ensuring a tight seal to block hot engine air. Secure all connections and double-check for proper clearance around components like the steering arms and hood latch. Reconnect any vacuum lines or MAF sensor wires, if your vehicle has them.
For maintenance, clean the air filter every 20,000 to 30,000 miles — or more often if you drive off-road. Remove the filter, wash it using an intake-safe cleaner, let it dry completely, then re-oil it according to the instructions. While you're at it, inspect the tubing for any cracks or loose clamps to keep your intake running at peak performance.
