How to install Installation Guide:

  1. Raise the Vehicle: Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  2. Locate the Catalytic Converter: Identify the catalytic converter on the underside of the vehicle.
  3. Remove the Oxygen Sensors: Carefully remove the oxygen sensors connected to the catalytic converter.
  4. Apply Penetrating Oil: Spray penetrating oil on the exhaust flange hardware and flanges to loosen any rust or debris.
  5. Remove the Old Catalytic Converter: Unscrew the bolts and remove the old catalytic converter.
  6. Install the New Catalytic Converter: Align the new catalytic converter with the existing exhaust system.
  7. Be sure to install new gaskets to prevent exhaust leaks, and then secure the converter by tightening the bolts.

NOTE

While anyone with basic mechanical knowledge can install a catalytic converter, it is recommended that it be installed by a professional mechanic to ensure proper installation and avoid any potential problems.
